Are over 50 and starting to prepare for retirement, or have recently retired

Value collaboration, but want to delegate day-to-day financial management to a professional

Common Questions

How do I know if we’re the right fit for each other?

We work with those who are interested in collaborating with an experienced financial professional who can handle the day-to-day monitoring and management of their accounts.

We’ve found we’re able to provide the most value to clients who are:

  • Career-driven people in their 30s and 40s who need help optimizing their complex compensation structure and growing finances.
  • Individuals and couples in their 50s who are considering retirement and want to make sure they’re heading in the right direction with the right financial partner.
  • Those who have already retired but need more specialized, hands-on service to stay confident and financially independent in retirement.

Do you serve clients in any state?

Yes! While our office is located in Dallas, Texas, we serve clients located throughout the United States. We will meet virtually via Zoom, and we are always available via phone and email for questions outside of our meetings.

What does the process look like once you’ve initiated my financial plan?

Once we’ve mutually decided that we’re the right fit to partner with you, we’ll solidify the key next steps and begin implementing your personalized financial plan.

As a client of Caviness Wealth, we’ll have ongoing quarterly check-in meetings to confirm your goals, address any changes, and keep you on track. We’ll also have micro-meetings whenever you need them to answer any questions that arise as your financial details or priorities evolve.

How do you get paid?

Our firm generally works on a fee-basis, which is either:

  1. Flat-fee financial planning, or
  2. Percentage-based fee model, calculated based on the assets managed for you (financial planning is included)

We are proud to offer a transparent and competitive fee structure. We will discuss your personalized fees with you up-front, which will be based on your unique scope of work, so that you understand what to expect prior to engaging with us.
